Parisi Bakery

07-23 Parisi
After reading this glorious open face sandwich description by food-guru Ed Levine, it was all we could do not to head west for lunch. But alas no time for a generously long lunch today. It's ok, we pop on up the street for a local favorite, Parisi, and head to the park for a peaceful lunch watching kids play and pigeons eat. Normally the mortadella, mozzerella and homemade roasted red peppers is irresisitible but a pleasant alternative is this classic italian hoagie with tart hot pickled peppers and a dash of oil and vinegar.
